On the other hand, I no longer feel even remotely qualified to buy a saddle without the assistance of a certified saddle fitter. When I think of how many saddles I've purchased over the years, on my own, I can only imagine how much I've contibuted to any problems my horse was experiencing and in turn, how my riding was affected. I recently purchased an old-but-still-in-excellent-condition Pariani close contact saddle and to me, the fit looks good. However, I think I will leave this task of making that decision to the experts before I have my first ride in this saddle.
