In general, I’m leery of herbal supplements: it’s unclear to me how much regulation and oversight there is within the industry. The source of Cetyl-Myristoleate in this product is 100% plant based. On the other hand, horses are designed to optimally process plant products.
My horse is highly sensitive to medications and ordinary supplements. Cetyl M is working for him. The supplement also has some natural anti-inflammatory properties, and I’ve noticed he’s less reactive allergically. He loves the taste. He’s a 21 year old sport horse, and moves like a 10 year old. I’ve noticed an added benefit: a superior coat. He gleams, and dapples are visible in his winter coat.
For a horse that needs a natural alternative, I feel it’s worth the money. Expect to see some change in 30 days, with the most profound change in 60-90 days.
